About me
Kendra Tyler received her B.A. in History from Chico State as well as her HSS and ELA Credential. She received her M.A. in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Kendra is a former Junior High History teacher, Google trainer, and EdTech Consultant. She now works at Glenn County Office of Education as the History and ELA Coordinator. She also currently works as the Region 2 History Social Science Lead on the CLIC Project and Region 2 CISC HSS Lead, she has built a community of over 100 HSS teachers who are partnering with local history organizations and county offices to utilize Common Core strategies, the Universal Design for Learning Framework, and the HSS Framework to implement best instruction in classrooms.
